Pameran Poskad 2020:
When we stayed at home

This series of artworks were created for Pameran Poskad 2020 exhibition. In the Year 2020, the world faced a pandemic and how of us had to stay at home for a period of time. Being at home doesn't mean inspiration will be restricted. In fact, it allowed me to connect with the space I'm in, open up my senses to the familiar surroundings and objects. Many times, you will find new possibilities in it, and of course, the beauty!

These 10 artworks were inspired by lines and textures on the marble tiles at home. I began to spot faces, creatures, or poses when my mind got drifted away during exercising. Some of these imageries stayed, some went off after I snapped the photo. From the imageries, I pictured activities that some of us could have done while we stayed at home to protect ourselves and loved ones from the pandemic. The experiences could be pleasant or unpleasant for some of us, however, I believe they are probably one that are unforgettable in our lifetime.
